Treating colour run

Dark items can shed colour during the wash cycle. This is especially common with denim. If you wash dark items with light items there is a risk that this loose dye will stain the light items.

Dark items can shed colour during the wash cycle. This is especially common with denim. If you wash dark items with light items there is a risk that this loose dye will stain the light items. If this occurs use a Colour Run product from the supermarket (found in the laundry aisle) to remove excess colour.

This is why we recommend only adding white and light-coloured clothes to your nappy wash.

Most colour run eventually washes out over time when using a mainstream detergent and warm-hot water.
