Cloth nappy detergent index (AU/NZ)

This is an excerpt from the AU/ NZ detergent index. The full index contains 175 different detergents and is available exclusively to our patrons and legacy website subscribers with a current quarterly or annual subscription.

Suggested main wash doses are based on a 7.5kg washing machine with an average nappy soiling level. Use one-third (1/3) of the suggested main wash dose if prewashing daily or half (1/2) the dose if prewashing every second day.

If you have a larger machine increase by 25% for each kg over 7kg. Also increase detergent if there is additional soiling (such as hard water, multiple children in cloth or older children) or if items are not coming out clean.
