Orion’s Cloth Nappies was created with the growing child in mind. Alexa Clarke started Orion’s Cloth Nappies after seeing the increasingly limited options in availability and designs as children got older.

While hiring out cloth nappies, I have had families with 30 kg 3-year-olds, 18 kg 10-year-olds and everything in between. Sometimes due to a person’s unique shape and absorbancy needs, they may on paper best fit a nappy typically used for toddlers, but actually need a small adult size nappy.

Every aspect of the products was thoughtfully designed to make them both practical and a joy to use.

A stellar first release

Orion’s first release includes three sizes of cloth pull ups that fit children from roughly 12 months through to 12 years (10–50 kg).

They come with recycled PUL, a trimmer fit and side snaps designed so that the pull up can be fastened while the child is lying on their front or facing away from you.

One of the reasons we went with pull ups is because we know how important independence is for people, no matter their age.

These pull ups are adaptable to your needs. If you need to be able to undo them at the side or change lying down, that can be done; if you need an easy nappy for you or your child to pull up, they can do that too.

Orion’s has also produced a large changing mat so no child has to be changed on a coat on the floor or hanging off an infant changing mat.

Their changing mat is generously sized at 90 cm × 120 cm – big enough to use as a portable play mat or picnic blanket when out and about. It includes an extendable, detachable strap to hang over a pushchair, wheelchair or carry over your shoulder.
