For the last 10 years, our passion has been promoting evidence-based laundry guidance. It was a rocky road at first, with opposition from within the cloth nappy world. Over time, the resistance and scepticism faded away, and more and more brands adopted our guidelines. 

It’s been a rewarding journey helping prevent hundreds of millions of disposables from entering landfills and reducing textile waste. But one question remains: what really happens inside your laundry?

We get some insights from the troubleshooting posts we answer, but most posts in the group are from people who need some extra help or reassurance on their nappy washes and stain-fighting prowess. The nature of running a troubleshooting group means we spend more time on laundry woes than laundry successes. That means there’s a whole segment of members we don’t hear from as often. 

We wanted to dig into what our community really does in their laundry, what you like, and what you don’t, so we decided to ask you.

Prizes

Each Winner of the giveaway (the “Winner”) will receive the prizes specified. The actual/appraised prize value may differ at the time the prize is awarded.

The prizes are as follows:

  • Bosch Series 6 washing machine (“The Major Prize”), model WGG254Z0AU, recommended retail price AU$1,749/ NZ$2,399.
  • 4 x $100 Prezzee eGift cards in the winner’s currency (AU$100/ NZ$100).
  • 10 x 1-year Clean Cloth Nappies Patreon membership, valued at AU$55.44 each

There shall be no cash or other prize substitution permitted except at the Organiser’s discretion.

Prizes are non-transferable.

The Winner, upon acceptance of the prize, is solely responsible for all expenses related to the prize, including without limitation any and all local, state, and federal taxes. The Winner shall not transfer assignment of the prize to others nor shall the Winner request the cash equivalent or prize substitution.

Prize draw

The Winner will be selected at random using a computer-based random number generator. Each eligible entry will be assigned a sequential number, and the random number generator will be used to select one number from the total pool of entries. The entry corresponding to that number will be declared the winner.

The Major Prize will be drawn first, and other prizes drawn in descending order of number and value.

The Organiser will publish the name of The Major Prize winner on this website page for 28 days following acceptance of the prize.
