We’ve outgrown our current website membership platform. Our strengths are cloth nappies, laundry science and sustainability. We want to spend time answering member questions, being with our families and pursuing things that fulfil us, instead of fixing payment issues and administering accounts. Patreon will help keep us sustainable and allow us to do more of the things that we love.
Our website (this site!) is still your authoritative source for all our information, and the vast majority is free. Our premium, subscriber-only content is staying the same, but the experience of signing up and managing your subscription is improving.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
There FAQs cover both our legacy website subscription and current Patreon membership. Please note, from 21 February 2023 onwards all new subscriptions are managed using Patreon.
Do I need a Patreon account to use the website?
You do not need a Patreon account to view most pages on the website. If you have an existing website subscription you will be able to continue to use it.
If you are not an existing website subscriber you will need to signup with Patreon to view our premium content.
Do Patreon members get priorty posting in the Facebook group?
No, we do not check if someone if a website subscriber or patron when answering posts. Wash routine troubleshooting and support will continue to be freely provided.
What types of payments does Patreon accept?
Patreon acceots debit card, credit card, Apple Pay and PayPal. Patreon also allows us to offer multiple currencies, so you can pay in Pounds, Euros, NZ, US and Canadian Dollars.
What happens to my current username and password, can I still use them to login?
If you have an existing Clean Cloth Nappies website subscription you will be able to log in as usual. Select signup/ login from the top navigation bar and enter your username and password. Or enter your username and password on the login using website content box on premium content pages.
I can’t log in, what should I do?
Check you have entered in the correct user name and password. Please choose the Forgot Password option to reset your password.

- using a different browser
- clearing your browser cache and browser cookies
- trying a different device.

How do I cancel my Patreon membership?
If you have a Patreon pledge you need to cancel it on the Patreon website.
How do I cancel my website subscription?
Cancel your account inside the Clean Cloth Nappies website account area. You must be logged into the website to cancel your account.
Please note, it is the Subscriber’s responsibility to cancel their digital membership. Please read the website terms and conditions for full details.
How do I update credit card/ payment details?
If you have a Patreon membership you will need to update your details inside your Patreon account.
If you have a website subscription you will need to update your credit card or payment details on the membership billing page inside your Clean Cloth Nappies website account. You must be logged into the website to update your payment details.
Can I support Clean Cloth Nappies without Patreon?
At this stage we are only accepting new pledges via Patreon.
What happens if I connect my Patreon account when I have a current website subscription?
If both accounts are tied to the same email, our database will prompt you to log into the website using your existing website username and password. After you have logged in with your website account you will be able to link your website subscription to your Patreon account.
